I came across a guy on the boat ramp this weekend dropping in a 1955 Montgomery Ward Tri-hull with an Evinrude outboard 50 that was purring like a kitty cat. We got to talking, and I couldn't help but notice the welder in the back of his truck that was bigger than his boat. "Ya, I'm trying to get my Mobile Welding Business up & going". I said, man have I got a job for you. lol! I have the new brackets ordered from Boatmate Trailer (the upgraded ribbed brackets), and as soon as they get in we will be scheduling a day on the lake while my new friend takes care of the business. I would like to put in a plug for Boatmate's parts team, in that over the years they have always been over the top helpful even if it is something as small as finding the correct $10 part for you.
I believe this project (trailer loading upgrade fabrication) to be an over the Summer build, need to fix the issues at hand 1st, but I will keep you updated. ~Shag, I will try to dig up some pics of the Supra trailer, just to show the direction I'm thinking of going with the G trailer...
