96' SN Trailer hard to find

Looking to replace my Trailer with an Aluminum or Galvanized Trailer. I can find General Boat trailers all day, but finding an "Inboard" style trailer with the prop/rudder cage seems like the 1% of trailers out there for sale. Then on top of that, most are just painted steel trailers.

I am mainly looking for used trailer, don't want to drop the money for a new trailer. I can find new trailers just fine.

My current trailer is a painted steel trailer in great condition, but we are moving to Salt water bodies and will need something more robust for obvious reasons. Can a normal boat trailer be retro fitting with the undercarriage for the prop/rudder protection fairly cheap?

I'm in Seattle area, if anyone has one for sale! Or wants my old painted one.

Most non-inboard trailers that you would be able to modify would have the axle(s) too far back for a true inboard boat. If you compare the axle location on your trailer to the others, you'll see that yours is more forward due to the forward placement of the engine in your boat. I would recommend sticking with one that was built for an inboard.

I have seen new aluminum inboard trailers sell for under $5,000.

Thank you, I did not think of that. Something under $5k is a price I'd be willing to pay. I've been seeing prices in the $7k+ range lately.

Any idea who sells new aluminum trailers for $5k?
