    230 on SB Trailer

My 2012 230 came with a dual axle Sport Boat Trailer fitted with massive 20x9J rims and tires (275/55R20) which look fantastic but aren't the best for maneuvering in my tight driveway and parking spaces. As equipped it tows beautifully but with 80 miles a year of towing, that's not a big priority. I see all the threads about 18" vs 15". For those of you with similar weight boat and 6,000lbs GVWR trailers, what do you like for rims and tires sizes? And if anybody in Nor Cal is interested in a trade, pls ping me. Thanks!

I am running a load rite dual torsion axle with my 230. It has the most basic 14 inch wheels on it with ST215 / R14C tires. I tow a lot and have had no issues on road or maneuvering in tight spaces, like my driveway and boat ramps. Very happy with the overall setup.
    It's the 6k version of this https://www.loadrite.com/trailers/lo...-boat-inboard/

I have a friend with 20s on his trailer, has the same opinion of them. The look great but are really tough to maneuver in tight spots. Total cringe fest watching them when trying to back into tight spots. We looked into swapping them out for some 14s but the trailer fenders we different between the 14 and 20 wheel options. He ended up sticking with the 20s as it was just going to be too much work to swap them out for the amount of trailing he does. The juice wasn't worth the squeeze so to speak.
