    2021 G23 on a 2015 G23 Trailer

I have a 2015 G23 boat and trailer and have been considering upgrading to a newer G23 boat. We have a year-round boat lift so I only use the trailer annually, and sometimes not even then. I do see some used G23's selling without a trailer, I was wondering if it would be possible to go get one with my 2015 trailer.

The local dealer mentioned a few months ago that they can modify their G trailers to fit all the hull changes of the G. So if they get a 2018 trade-in, they could make a 2022 trailer work. Does anyone know what is involved?

    Thanks in advance

All depends on the brand of trailer, but I successfully converted a 2020 eazy loader G25 trailer to fit my 2014 G25. It required lifting the front bunk supports and buying a taller winch tower. Took some trial and error but it fits great now. Not too sure you would be able to go the other way without cutting and re-welding the bunk supports... as far as going and getting your new boat... it depends on how far your going to travel. My guess would be that you will have a lot of stress on the front bunk supports. Good luck.
