Trailer Watchdog - temperature monitoring, anyone use this

Has anyone used the Trailer Watch Dog system, TrailerWatchdog.com - The best in trailer Axle and TPMS monitoring. – Trailerwatchdog.com?
Seems like a good idea, I pull my boat through the mountains quite often so any issues usually are a pain the the A$$ to deal with as no cell reception and far away from any towns or cities. With these Vault hubs would be nice to know if one is heating up and failing before finding out the cap has blown off and now have a bigger problem?

Purdy cool find. I will say I gave up on worrying about my trailer bearings since the advent of Vault bearings, and we make some long steep mountainess hauls. I'm sure the same applies in Canada. Had them on 2 rigs now, and it has been a great comfort and relief, not watching out the mirror for a smoke trail or wobble. I suppose like anything there is the occasional malfunction, but I think you would start to see signs of leakage prior to a blow. I would be interested however in the TPS for the tires, I usually loose one a Season on average, and I don't always see it or feel it when it happens, have Super Duty- will pull, already chalked one up this Season, pretty much a brand new tire, road hazard.

I found with tires that the top of the guide posts are a great indicator of an impending failure. Perhaps a lot of this is from years of experience, but any guide vibration out to the norm, that is often first felt in my seat, and the tire could give way at any moment. I pulled over on my last four tire failures before they happened.
