Anyone know how much the plastic version on the Ramlin bow stops are?. My carpeted version are starting to rip and I thought about replacing it with the newer style. Thanks

Good question. Is there anyhting out there that you could make your own out of? (Say from Lowe's or Home Depot?) Come on, Some of you guys in construction should know :!:

I have the plastic ones, but wish I had the carpet back. The rub the rub rail as sell as the cover. I would stick with carpet.

            Translation:

They rub the rub rails, as well as the cover.

gotta learn to read between the lines.

              replace them

I did, about two years ago. No issues. I trailer about 5-600 miles per year. No issues with rubbing. I called prestige, they sent the stops, and I installed in an hour.

              Good luck

Make sure if you get HDPE (high density ployethylene) you get the UV resistant. You can get it from McMaster Carr, but there it is not cheap. There are other sources.

I replaced my carpeted ones with the plastic. Purchased from White Lake Marine last year. As I recall the cost was around $65 for the pair.

Try White Lake Marina in NC for the boards for your bow stop. They have the best deal plus shipping.
