2006 Nautique 226 LE - Where Is The 'Gateway' Located?

    2006 Nautique 226 LE - Where Is The 'Gateway' Located?

    I need to check some connections on the gateway that drives the gauges. It does not appear to be located in the starboard rear storage locker nor in the engine locker. There is a circuit breaker box only in the rear locker.

    It is not on the back side of the footboard beneath the dash. There is only what appears to be a fuse box.

    I will appreciate any guidance on this.

    The gateway box is mounted on the underside of the dash.

    If it was a snake it would have bit me.

      On my 2006 220 it is located behind a breaker panel under the dash at the drivers feet. I have to remove that breaker panel lie on my back up under the dash and look up.

          Question regarding installation of a gauge conversion kit and my 2004 226 TE:
          Since the gateway is under the drivers side it seems that changing out the old failing gauges and bypassing the gateway would be plug and play (after changing the gauges in the pod and following the install instructions) because you don’t need to run the cable to the rear of the boat.

          Am I mistaken? Also, advice about doing so on a 2004 226 TE is greatly appreciated.
