My guess is that it is 7-10k under market because the condition of the interior. It needs at least 2-3k in work to get it looking somewhat decent. I have seen quite a few of these go in the 17-18k range in much better condition than this boat. If someone did the work themselves, they could flip it and make a small profit 2-5k. If I were buying, I would get a full mechanical inspection including compression on cylinders.
He called me last night but I haven't had a chance to call back.
I am probably in for the flip as I don't have my heart set on a yellow boat with a single axle trailer. So the price is going to have to work for me and 15k isn't it. If its mechanically sound I'll still be 18k into it as mentioned above with an interior. I can buy one in good shape for that.
I def wouldn't pay 15k for that. As mentioned. 3k in interior at the least gets you at 18k.
Assuming the engine and mechanicals are sound .......If you could grab that for 13k it's be a great investment and or final boat. **** I'd start at an offer of 12 and go from there. It's apparent he doesn't care for it or worry about it. May just want to dump it. I haven't see a 2001 SANTE in good shape ever go sub 20k......Unless it had 1800hrs or something crazy in need of lots TLC. Super sports on the other hand I have seen a few well maintained ones going sub 20 k all day.
For the record. 2 seasons ago sold my 2000 xstar w 1250 hrs. Complete Wetsounds system and in near showroom condition gelcoat and interior wise for 24,000. I ended up with a bidding war on the positive side. These particular older wakeboats boat values are way above the avg with new boat prices when the boat is clean. Clean that bad boy up and it will sell for 20 plus all day long
I had my SSN on here last year for 21000 and never got much feed back. Then lowered to 19500. I know that it did not have PP or Build in Ballast, but it did have 1.5 to 2k in new trailer parts, along with Full Tune up and new starter, and good int.
